NEW REPRESENTATION!!

March 14, 2021

Last week I signed with I.T.S. Models and Talent Management right here in Downtown Lancaster and I am thrilled to be represented by them! I haven’t been part of an agency since my college years in Pittsburgh but when I was out of my restaurant job due to COVID for months I decided to utilize my time and look for performance work wherever possible. I found I.T.S. online and thought “what the heck?” and sent in my resume which led to a virtual meeting with the owner and an audition, which then led to a contract. I hadn’t had headshots done since 2012 (when I had VERY short hair) and was lucky enough to have a good friend offer to do them for me here in Lancaster…I’m pleased with the way they turned out and just excited to be putting myself out there again. Looking forward to new opportunities!!

Missing Rocky Horror…thanks COVID

October 20, 2020

For most people, this time of year means pumpkin spice lattes, boots, sweaters and beautiful cool autumn evenings gathered around firepits. For me, the second I smell that crisp fall air I think about one thing…it’s time to do The Rocky Horror Show. For the past fifteen years I have had this show in my life. I’ve played Eddie, Columbia, Janet, an Usherette and my very favorite: Magenta. I’ve directed, produced and choreographed the show multiple times and performed it at four different theatres in the Harrisburg/Lancaster area. I’ve done this show with old friends, new friends, best friends, significant others and exes. Three years ago I played Magenta for the Friday night performances and Janet for the Saturday performances…something I was able to do easily because I know both roles like the back of my hand haha. This year was supposed to be the second year of us doing Rocky at Zoetropolis in downtown Lancaster…then COVID hit. There have been multiple silver linings for me during this pandemic and I don’t want to complain about anything knowing how many people have been negatively affected by this…but I will say there’s definitely been a small void in my life without being around my Rocky family…the show just holds a special place in my heart. I cant wait until all of this is over for so many reasons but mostly I can’t wait to get back to some sort of normalcy in the restaurant industry and theatre world (both of which have been a part of my life for decades.) I can’t wait to hear the live rock band start that first giant chord in the opening number and people go nuts in the audience. I can’t wait to have old friends, new friends and Rocky virgins join the cast again. I can’t wait to sell out and hear people all over town talk about how bummed they are that they missed it because they heard how amazing and fun the show was. I can’t wait to see how many holes my fishnets have at the end of the run. I just can’t wait. Happy Halloween everyone. Here’s to a brighter future. Also don’t forget to VOTE!!!!!
